Manga Bistro: Montreal’s First Anime-Themed Sushi Spot

1–2 minutes

Restaurant Name: Manga Bistro

Address: 1836 A Saint-Catherine St W, Montreal, Quebec H3H 1M1 Canada

On a fun night out with two friends, we headed to Manga Bistro on Saint-Catherine St W, Montreal—Montreal’s first anime-themed all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. If you’re into anime, this place will instantly transport you into the colorful world of manga.

The Ambiance: From the moment we stepped inside, we were surrounded by vibrant characters like Lupin and Naruto (the few I recognized), making the ambiance feel fun, cool, and trendy. It’s a perfect spot for catching up with friends while enjoying some great Japanese food.

What We Ate: The selection is endless! They offer everything from sashimi, nigiri, and maki to udon, soups, bubble teas, and even delicious desserts. Some of our favorites were the torched sushis, submarine sushi, Manga roll, and mango tango maki. We also couldn’t get enough of the fried banana dessert and the comforting miso soup.

What I Love Most: One of the coolest parts? It’s all digital! You order through an iPad, and within minutes, fresh sushi arrives at your table. The service was fast, and we loved how quickly everything came after we hit confirm.

Tip: Be adventurous and try different rolls—you might find a new favorite. And don’t forget to take a photo with the fun anime décor inside the restaurant!

Overall, I gave Manga Bistro is a must-visit if you love sushi and themed dining experiences!
