Hi, I’m Cheryl Anne Grenier!
I’m a travel advisor, foodie, and your personal passport to the world.

Originally from the Philippines and now proudly calling Canada home, I’ve had the privilege of exploring 25 countries (and counting). Every destination has taught me something new about culture, hospitality, and what truly makes a journey unforgettable. Those experiences have shaped the way I plan travel today: thoughtfully, personally, and with great attention to detail.
For more than 15 years, I’ve built my career in the hospitality and travel industry. But for me, travel has never been just a profession. It’s something I genuinely love.
I believe that every trip deserves the same level of care and excitement, whether you’re celebrating a honeymoon, planning a destination wedding, marking a milestone birthday, embarking on a dream cruise, or simply craving a much-needed escape to the beach.
One of my core beliefs is that travel is an investment in something far more valuable than money — your time.
Time is the one thing we can never get back, which is why I believe it should be spent meaningfully and well. That philosophy guides every itinerary I create and every recommendation I make.
Think of me as your personal travel concierge. From visa application assistance and hotel recommendations to securing restaurant reservations and helping you discover authentic local experiences, I’m here to make your journey as seamless and enjoyable as possible.
Most importantly, I am here for you every step of the way.
Believe it or not, I didn’t grow up flying first class or vacationing at luxury resorts.
Long before I ever boarded a plane, I traveled through books and movies. I dreamed about places I hoped to see someday, never imagining that travel would eventually become both my career and my passion.
I was 22 years old when I boarded an airplane for the very first time — and I did it alone. That experience changed my life and opened up a world of possibilities.
Although my educational background was in Psychology, life had other plans. My first opportunity in hospitality came at Waterfront Airport Hotel and Casino in Cebu, Philippines, and that’s where my love for creating memorable guest experiences truly began.

In 2011, I embarked on another life-changing adventure and relocated to Dubai, UAE. Over the next 11 years, I had the privilege of working with some of the world’s most iconic luxury hotel brands, including Fairmont Dubai, Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, and Bab Al Shams Desert Resort.
I also worked with Hotelbeds in Dubai — one of the world’s leading travel technology companies where I collaborated with travel professionals and suppliers across the globe, gaining firsthand knowledge of destinations and travel products.
Those years taught me that luxury isn’t simply about beautiful hotels or five-star amenities. It’s about thoughtful service and attention to detail.
And Dubai gave me something even more special.

In 2018, I met a handsome Canadian who eventually became my husband. What started as a chance encounter eventually turned into a beautiful love story.
In 2022, I made another exciting move and bought a one-way ticket to Montreal, Canada to be with him permanently.
My travel planning career further expanded when I got my first job in Canada at Vacances Preference where I further refined my skills in designing customized vacations and delivering personalized service to Canadian travelers. This is where I gained valuable experience in itinerary planning and destination expertise.

In 2024, I launched Travels by Cheryl Anne Blog as a passion project. My original intention was simply to share travel stories, document meaningful experiences, capture the essence of travel beyond the surface, and provide tips gathered from years of exploring some parts of the world.
Soon, friends and family began asking for help planning their own vacations. One recommendation turned into another, and what started as a blog naturally evolved into something much bigger.
Today, I have the privilege of combining everything I’ve learned throughout my career — from luxury hospitality and destination expertise to firsthand travel experiences across multiple countries and continents — to help my clients create journeys that are effortless, meaningful, and truly unforgettable.
And after all these years, I still get excited every time I help someone turn a dream trip into reality.
Because I know firsthand that some of life’s greatest memories begin with a boarding pass.
I am proud to be an independent travel advisor affiliated with Direct Travel, one of North America’s leading travel management and luxury travel companies. Through Direct Travel, my clients benefit from the resources, industry connections, and buying power of a world-class organization, while still enjoying the personalized service of working directly with me.
I am also a proud member of Virtuoso, an invitation-only network of the world’s finest travel advisors and preferred partners. This means my clients often enjoy exclusive perks and VIP privileges, including preferred rates, complimentary breakfast, hotel and resort credits, room upgrades when available, and unique experiences that are not easily accessible to the general public.

Whenever you’re ready, I’d love to help you turn those ideas into a beautifully planned journey.
