The dining area accommodated everyone comfortably, with a regular table and a bistro table for six each, plus extra seating if needed. After dinner, we cozied up in the living room, where a 55-inch HDTV and a projector with a white screen were perfect for movie nights. The central fireplace added that quintessential winter charm and the main bathroom provided a relaxing retreat with its steam room.
Up in the mezzanine, the games room quickly became the favorite hangout spot. Between rounds of pool, poker, and baby-foot, we played board games while sipping drinks from the minibar. The panoramic lake views, framed by the frost-covered trees, made the setting even more magical.
The basement housed six bedrooms, each thoughtfully designed for comfort. The bunk room, with its double bunks, was a hit with the kids, while the cozy queen bedrooms provided restful nights for everyone else. Heated floors in the bathrooms were a welcomed luxury, especially after venturing out into the cold.
