ABOUT ME

My name is Cheryl Anne M. Grenier — an independent travel counselor, storyteller, memory-keeper, and explorer at heart.

Welcome to Travels by Cheryl Anne, and thank you for stopping by!

In 2011, I took a leap and moved to Dubai, where I spent over a decade working in luxury hotels and global travel companies, including Fairmont Hotel Dubai, the iconic Burj Al Arab, Bab Al Shams Desert Resort, and Hotelbeds (HBX Group).

Those years shaped how I work today: attention to detail, seamless planning, and understanding what makes a trip feel truly special — not just booked.

In 2018, life surprised me in the best way when I met a charming Canadian who happened to be visiting Dubai. What started as a simple conversation quickly became something more — a shared love for travel, curiosity about the world, and a natural rhythm that just felt right.

2 years (and many adventures) later, we said “I do,” turning a chance meeting into the start of our greatest journey together.

Since then, we’ve visited almost 20 countries together… and our travel bucket list just keeps growing. Haha!

That’s what led me to become an independent travel counselor with Direct Travel.

Today, I work one-on-one with clients creating personalized, stress-free travels — whether it’s a luxury escape, a cultural adventure, or a once-in-a-lifetime trip.

Travel guilty pleasures: Street food crawls, premium economy seats, and airport VIP lounges.
Must-pack items: Camera, power bank, and a sleek collapsible water bottle (always).
Window or aisle?: Window — for the views!
Cruise or land travel?: I love cruising, but for longer land trips, I plan thoughtfully to make every destination count.
